Q1. What can you do for me that I can't get from a regular store?
We at MOONRIVER by VJ- Tailors create your shirts, suits and slacks in the fabric and style of your choice. A retail store can only offer you what they carry. i.e standard off the rack items.
For Custom Suits
- - Hand-embroidered initials or your full name inside the jacket
- - Handpicked and matched linings and buttons
- - Functional buttonholes on sleeves
- - Additional inside pocket
- -Extra costs do apply for these services.
For Custom Shirts
- - Hand-cut, hand turned collars
- - Monograms
- - Generous tails ,or fitted shorter cuts.
- - Different collar styles to choose from
- - Duplicate your favorite shirt for that matter
Q2. Do I have to get re-measured every time I pick something out?
Once we have your measurements on file, re-orders are a snap. If you want something new, all you have to do is select the cloth and styles.
Q3. What about big and tall sizes?
Usually, the prices quoted are the prices for everyone, regardless of how big or tall.Although if there is extra fabric invonlved ,there is a small charge of not more than 10 % of the cost of the garment.
Q4. Is it possible for you to duplicate the fit of a favorite shirt or Suit presently in my wardrobe?
Absolutely. Just send us your garment with your order. We'll be glad to incorporate any changes you might want then return the garment you sent with your new orders.
Q5. When I place my order, can I choose different styles? Is it possible to request different collars, cuffs, pockets or other unique features on my suits and shirts?
Yes, with no extra charges.
Q6. Do you customize to any style?
If you would like us to custom make garments to styles you want we can do this if the image file or a link to an online image is emailed to us at vj@moonriverbyvj.com
Q7. Do I need to worry about shrinkage?
No, all our fabrics are pre-shrunk. Although there is always a residual shrinkage of 2 - 3%, we allow for this shrinkage when we custom make your garment.
Q8. Can I use different fabrics?
Of course! You may choose any fabric we offer. We are well stocked with different fabrics for suiting and shirting, all of which come with high thread count for rich texture and feel. Then, if you don't find the exact fabric you're looking for, simply e-mail us with the description, or send us a photograph from a catalog or magazine. We'll try to find the perfect match for you.
Q9. What is the Turnaround Time for the orders?
It takes 8 weeks to complete an order from our Road Shows,provided all the information required has been met and 7 to 10 working days for transit. In Shop orders can be done Quicker,and according to individual needs.
Q10. What are the shipping and handling charges?
Price of all products are quoted inclusive of all shipping and handling charges.
Q11. What are my payment options?
In order to assist you as much as possible in your financial dealings with us, we accept payment by most methords except credit cards.
